It was established in 2003 (Government Gazette 144/12-6-2003), at the Department of Early Childhood Education, Faculty of Education, University of Ioannina, and serves main educational and research needs in the fields of: information technology, educational programs using ICT, and scientific research (Methodology-Analysis-Results).
